As you can probably tell, I am catching up on posting tonight. Apparently, I've been slacking.
I am posting this cinnamon roll picture because I love how it looks. Unfortunately, I did not love how it tasted, so it's not even worth digging up and reproducing the recipe. I actually tried two recipes that day - one from King Arthur, and the other the master sweet dough recipe from Fleischmann's. My friend Anna uses the latter all the time, flawlessly. Obviously, I need her to come over here and teach me a thing or two about a thing or two.
These were good right out of the oven (what isn't?) but by the time they cooled, they were bready, dry, not syrupy enough, and just not that exciting. Bummer. At least they're pretty.
