This is the car cake I made for Boy-o's 2nd birthday last month. I was really pleased with how it came out (looks-wise), though I was disappointed that the cake was dry. The pieces I carved off to shape the car weren't dry, so I wonder if it was because I didn't cover the cake overnight in the fridge that it dried out? Anyway, it was still a big hit and we all enjoyed it, especially Boy-o, who kept talking about his "happy birthday cake."
