blueberry crisp results


I liked it!

Pros: nice flavor; berries held their shape well; topping stayed crisp and was delicious; great with vanilla ice cream.

Cons: totally soupy on the bottom, despite the recipe's claims! The soup was a little thicker than just fruit juice, owing to the flour and confectioner's sugar in the mixture tossed with the berries, but still... I really thought the recipe promised otherwise. Perhaps because I used fresh berries?

A nice summertime treat.

My name's Leah and I approve this crisp. It was really tasty and the topping was great. I didn't think it was that soupy, but even so I'd much rather have a liquid-y crisp than a dry one, so thumb's up from me.
