Bug Bug loves ketchup. She eats it with fish sticks... she has even been known to dip mango in it. (I know, gross.) I admit to being pretty fond of ketchup myself, and my dad is a huge fan. So you could say the apples don't fall far from the trees.
Boy-o is only just being introduced to condiments. He's been feeding himself real-people food for months, and he's a great eater, but neatness is hardly his forte, so I have avoided making the inevitable messes messier. We're talking about a kid who still throws food - and/or his plate - at most meals.
I think the ketchup gene may have gone haywire in his case. The kid was seen eating ketchup tonight... with a spoon. Well, at least he's polite.
